How would you feel if you new you could have more flexibility with your work schedule?
A new report suggests that by adding more flexibility to a workers schedule is likely to boost their health through reduced blood pressure and stress. Flexible work schedules also have the potential to promote healthier workplaces and improve work practices.
Now there can be some pro’s and con’s to the flexible work schedule. There are some workers who feel more comfortable with having a set schedule and who may feel more stress with having a flexible schedule. On the other side those who do feel more comfortable with a flexible schedule may feel to relaxed which could cause differences between the worker and employer.
Overall from the research suggests that ‘the more you feel in control over your work, over the schedule and the demands and timetable and so forth, the healthier you will be.’
