An alliance was signed on March 25th in Seattle by OSHA and the Mechanical Contractors Association which is designed to provide employers and workers with information on programs/trainings and how to reduce workplace hazards. With this alliance it will include a variety of outreach activities: trainings, workshops, seminars to help promote safety and health training.
With this program, OSHA will be working with groups that are willing to commit to safety and health. OSHA and the organization sign a formal agreement with goals that address training and education, outreach and communication, and promoting the national dialogue on workplace safety and health.
