There are two public hearings scheduled by Oregon OSHA to discuss proposed changes to the rules governing provision of eyewash and emergency shower systems as stated under the Agriculture Rules.
The first meeting is scheduled for April 27th in Hood River and the second meeting is scheduled for April 29th in Salem.
Some of the proposed changes include language to call EMS for treatment, and working with seasonal workers on providing safety training.
