A new alliance was created today with the US Labor Department, OSHA, and the Consulate General of Mexico in New York.
The new alliance will create and provide a support call center to Mexican and other Hispanic workers in the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut area. The call center will provide information around various topics such as Labor Issues and Migrant and Seasonal Work Protection. All calls placed to the center will remain confidential so that workers will feel safe in knowing that the information they call in for will not be reported back to their employer.
