OSHA has recently outlined in a new 6 year plan outlining their goals for improving workplace safety and health.
OSHA plan is to actively promote safe and healthy working conditions by enforcing standards; providing outreach and education; and to encourage further improvement by working with those involved with work place safety standards.
Here are just a few of the strategies OSHA will use
- Strengthen regulatory capabilities
- Increase OSHA’s prescence in the workplace
- Protect vulnerable and hard to reach worker populations
- Enhance and strengthen compliance assistance for small business
